RJ Motorsport is owned and run by race driver, Josh Smith. From the age of 10, racing has been a huge part of his life and at 17 he studied Motorsport Engineering at Oxford Brookes University. Alongside his studies, he was asked to drive for the Bridgwater and Taunton College race team in a Radical Clubsport and soon after began to lecture there; before going on to run the Motorsport course for many years. Josh has raced in several sports prototypes and has won multiple championships. In 2011 he drafted, wrote and had published his own Motorsport Engineering book. His knowledge of race car set up and prep is second to none but coupled with his ‘behind the wheel’ experience and expertise you and your car are in the best possible hands.

The team consist of a number of mechanics and experts in order to provide the customer with the best experience during their event whether that be a day or a weekend. Specialising primarily in Sports Prototypes, the diversity of the team allows our services to be offered to all types of competition car. The team work closely with all the drivers and have a real passion and desire to see their customers happy and achieving their goals by understanding the individual’s needs.
