**750MC Bikesports Donington Park GP October**
The final weekend of the Bikesports Championship with the RJ squad running 8 cars….driver summary below;
Jamie Keevil - Qualified P2, Race 1 Outright Winner and fastest lap, Race 2 spin on green flag lap, fought his way back to 5th overall and 2nd in class doing enough to snatch the 2024 Bikesports Class A title.
Andy Fido - Qualified 8th, Race 1 finished 8th and 3rd in class. Race 2 finished 6th and 3rd in class. Finished the year level on points at the top of the class A table but drops to second on count back of wins.
Daniel Headlam - Qualified 6th. Race 1 finished 3rd overall and class win but penalised one place for contact. Race 2 finished 4th and 3rd in class to seal 3rd in class B championship.
Alicia Barrett - Her first ever Radical race. Qualified P12. Race 1 finished 6th and 4th in class. Race 2 finished P14 after a slow pit stop. An amazing start to car racing career.
Paul Seward - Qualified P9. Race 1 DNF after finding the gravel. Race 2 finished P9.
Ross Board - Qualified an amazing P5. Race 1 finished P17 after a few spins! Race 2 finished P11 after a pit stop for a tyre change.
Doug Carter - Qualified P14, Race 1 finished P18 and Race 2 P15.
Matt Price - His first circuit racing event too. Qualified P17, Race 1 finished P10 and Race 2 DNF with a damaged front floor.

So that’s Bikesports finished for another year. Congratulations to @leonmorrellracing for another overall championship win 👏

Thank you to all of our drivers, hard working staff, organisers, officials and marshals for making it all happen.

The @750motorclub Birkett Relay at Silverstone GP today - a 6 hour race and around 70 teams on the grid! We have 2 teams; Daytona Motorsport with RJ - drivers are: Al Smart, Charles Graham, Leon Morrell and Charles Hall. And Team RJ Motorsport - drivers are: Paul Seward, Matt Jones and Joe Crook… 11:45am start! Let’s go 🏁

** Cypriot Time Attack International Super Battle**
After the long summer break, racing resumed in Cyprus and it was the biggest event of the year with over 40 cars taking part. Friday was free practice and a chance to shake the car down and scrub new tyres in. Saturday was FP1 whilst the first timed run was cancelled at the end of the day due to on track stoppages. Sunday was then rearranged to have two timed runs instead of one. Theo set a brace of quick times to take command at the top of the charts before further improving on his time and beating his personal best in the last run of the day to take a clean sweep of honours…..class winner, overall winner and super battle winner along with sealing the 2024 championship!! We go again in December with one last piece of the jigsaw puzzle left to complete - the outright circuit lap record, which was agonisingly missed by 0.006s!!! Game on 🏁💪🏻

**Zeo Prototypes Brands Hatch August 17th Summary**
Our penultimate Zeo round of the year took us to Brands Hatch with 5 cars. In qualifying Al Smart took 3rd in class A and P9 overall and in class C it was Andrew Goord in 1st, Paul Seward in P2, Chris Child in P3 and Dom Langdon Down in P4. In race 1 Al moved forward to take P6 and 3rd in class. The RJ class C battle played out with drivers holding positions from qualifying but chasing each other home all the way. Race 2 at the end of the day saw Al take P4 overall and 1st in class. In class C it was another fight to the finish but the order this time was Paul, Andrew, Chris and Dom. Plenty of silverware again for the team. Big thanks to the mechanics and the team at Zeo for another great weekend.

**Castle Combe Sports Prototypes August 3rd Results Summary**
A bit delayed after a busy few weeks…….6 RJ drivers entered the annual Norman Lackford memorial race at our home circuit of Castle Combe. A busy days testing set everyone up well for Saturdays qualifying and two races. Newcomer, Paul Seward, put his SR3XX on the front row in P2, Andy Fido placed P4, Chris Child P5, Ross Board P8, Dom Langdon Down P9 and Lynsey Jones P10. Race 1 saw some great racing through the field with Andy taking the win, Paul in P3, Chris P6, Ross P8, Dom P9 and Lynsey P10. Race 2 concluded with Andy taking another win and retaining the Norman Lackford Trophy for another year, Paul in P2, Chris P4, Ross P5, Dom P7 and Lynsey P8. We can’t wait to come back next year. Our debut racers Paul and Lynsey did brilliantly at a tricky circuit whilst relative newcomer Ross made great strides across the weekend. It was our first race action with Dom this year also 🏁👍

**Bikesports Anglesey Summary**
8 RJ cars made the 16 car grid for a summer visit to Anglesey circuit in North West Wales.
Fridays busy testing went well before we were met with a wet qualifying that was plagued by yellow flags and safety cars with no one really able to set representative times. Overall saw Dan Headlam in P3, Doug Carter P4, Andy Fido P7, Jamie Keevil P9, Charles Graham P10, Andrew Goord P12, Ross Board P13 and Laura Farrow P14.
Race 1 was messy to say the least with only 7 classified cars…..Jamie Keevil P3 (1st in class), Andy Fido P4 (2nd in class), Doug Carter P5 (3rd in class) and Laura Farrow P7 (P3 in class). Unfortunately Dan Headlam was fired off on lap 1, Charles Graham suffered damage during the safety car, Andrew Goord disqualified for overtaking under safety car conditions and Ross Board not classified after getting mixed up at the end of the race.
Race 2 at the end of the day produced some good racing, but finished under safety car after Jamie Keevil suffered a suspension failure. Results ended with Andy Fido P6 (3rd in class and currently leading class A championship), Andrew Goord P7, Doug Carter P8 (penalty for out of position start), Dan Headlam P9 (penalty for speeding in the pit lane saw him drop 6 places), Charles Graham P10, Ross Board P12 and Laura Farrow P13. Bikesports moves onto Brands Hatch in August 🏁🏁

A successful 2 days at Anglesey last weekend for the @750motorclub Bikesports saw a mix of sunshine, rain and wind! (Just to keep the drivers and the team on their toes!) A few trophies picked up and another one on the calendar ticked off for the team ✔️ onto Brands Hatch next in August 🏁🏁

**Zeo Prototypes Donington Race Report**
Last weekends racing brought us to a hot and sunny Donington Park for the Zeo Prototypes and Sports Prototype Cup joint collaboration event. We had four cars competing….Alastair Smart in his SR10, Andrew Goord in the RJ works SR3RSX, Doug Carter in his PR6 and Dominic Langdon-Down having his first outing of the year in his SR3RS.

Qualifying went well on the whole with Doug Carter 1st in class, Andrew Goord 2nd in class and Dom P5 (all in class C). Al suffered a CV boot and joint failure early on, putting him on the back foot from the start.

Race 1 saw Doug take a class win on the new Hoosier tyres, Andrew taking P3 and Dom a P5. Al fought his way up to P6 overall and 2nd in class.

Race 2 was the final race of a long day. Doug once again took a dominant class win (also collecting Driver of the Day with it), Andrew once again in P3 and Dom taking P4. Al in his class A SR10 put in some good times, beating his personal best around the GP circuit as he continues to get to grips with his new machine, although ended in the gravel after trying a bit too hard!! Zeo next heads to Brands Hatch in August.
